Space Mouse fails to recognize different environments in Inventor 2024

I recently upgraded to Inventor 2024 from 2020.  In 2020 my trustee old Space Pilot would allow me to program the shortcut keys differently in every environment- 2d sketch, part, assembly, presentation, etc.  In 2024, the 3d Connexion software fails to recognize any differences in any of the environments, so I get the same presets regardless of what I'm doing.  Which sucks.  It's like I lost my thumbs all of the sudden.  Has anybody else had this problem?  I know this is an old space mouse that is no longer supported; can anybody confirm the newer models allow button customization via different environments?  I'll drop the money on a new one in a heartbeat, but only if necessary.

Make sure you have the latest driver update.
My 3DConnexion SpaceMouse Enterprise recognizes different environments (worse with a mouse 😞 ).

Then write to 3DC Support asking if this model is still supported.

Thanks for the input, but I'm certain there is no "latest" driver for mine.  They quit supporting it years ago.  Kind of frustrating actually, it still works fine and other than some aesthetics I don't know what's different on the new ones.  other than they still support the new ones...  As is I'm already running newer drivers from a different model.

Just to be clear, the Enterprise works in 2024 between different environments?

I was in the same boat as you a couple of months ago. Guess what I had to do?...buy a new one (SpaceMouse Compact). It works in places and ways the old one didn't.
