Hey Guys,
I've just got done attempting to sort the drg PARTS LIST based on GROUP SETTINGS, but had no success.
Maybe someone in here knows how to do this, or if it is NOT possible?
This is a structural assembly that consists of various structural shapes and sizes.
I want to sort the BOM by SHAPE, then SIZE then MATERIAL, and consolidate each line item showing TOTAL LENGTH.
HOWEVER, I can't get all the different shapes consolidated, but can only get ONE SHAPE sorted/consolidated while the rest of the shapes don't consolidate, b/c the GROUP SETTINGS has only 3 entries for sorting, not infinite entries.
For example:
I can sort all the different PIPE sizes by DIA & SCH so each has only one line item and at the end of the line shows the total lengths. BUT, I can't any of the other structural shapes, such as FLAT BAR (thk & width), and ANGLES (L1, L2 & THK), etc. Get what I'm saying?
So how can I sort EVERY SHAPE/SIZE so all the SAME shape/size consolidates into one line item ending the line with TOTAL LENGTH?
