solid from 3d sketch and loft

Hi,
I am trying to figure out what this error is but I cannot find any possible cause. I am actually trying to loft between a 2d and a 3d sketch. The loft works if I output it an surface body but when I am trying to output it into a solid one, it does not work (more in the attached files).  I am desperate and I would appreciate it any help.
Thank you in advance.

Hi!

Sometimes is easier to Inventor to compute some geometry in surface mode than in solid mode, but no worries, you can turn the surfaces into solid:

Also:

Always fix the errors before continuing to modelling.
If the red Cross appears, solve it until it turns grey... grey is good, red, not so much...

I think this is because the entities were copied from a sketch that was after deleted... it does not seem to  cause any problems for the momment... or I think so..

Hi! Though Loft can create the geometry easily, I don't think this is the right approach. This particular part looks more like a 2D profile Sweep. Please share the surface model. There should be a way to accurately recreate the geometry using Sweep  than using Loft.

Many thanks!

Well, if the cross is red is because the program is struggling to fix that. This can bring some later problems to the model, even in drawings, assemblies etc.
If you don't need the sketch, delete it... or you will be waiting for the problems?

It is a basic rule, if the red cross appears, fix it before continuing with the modelling.
