software to handle"FactoryEnvironment" not loaded

Hi,

We've been given a set of assemblies by a subcontractor, making up a section of a chemical plant.

On one of our machines, we put the assemblies together as we needed them, but as soon as we try to take a section view of anything [it happens for other functions as well, this is just the first one we noticed consistently does this], we are given an error.

This error reads "The software to handle the environement 'FactoryEnvironment' for file N\:[our file directory].iam is not loaded. Some commands may not be available on the document until you load the software (i.e. the add-in)."

This error will pop up once for each subassembly.

We do have the factory design suite, and we have installed inventor from that suite. We uninstalled and reinstalled inventor thinking that maybe the add-in might be attached to that install - the same error does not show up on most of our machines. Just one.

Upon searching, I'm only finding guidance for some issues with earlier versions of inventor - none of which work for our situation. From what I understand, add-ins have been handled differently the last couple of years.

Any insight?

Thanks

Scott

I would look at the Add-In Manager and see if there are any not loaded.  I don' thave the Factory Design Suite, so I cannot check for this add in.  In the Assembly, go to Environments tab, Manage and click the Add-Ins plus sign.  Look down the list and see if anything obvious shows up as being unloaded or blank; try to switch it to automatically load.  (It might be worth comparing this list to a station that isn't having the issue).

Hope that helps,

Kenny

Still having issues here.

I don't see 'FactoryEnvironment' anywhere in the add-ins on my machine, but all of our files work fine on it. This issue was present on my manager's machine exclusively, but now we've got it on an intern's machine.

There's no factory environment to turn on anywhere, and we can't figure out what's missing. I'd LOVE to offload some work on to our interns, but this is preventing that, unfortunately.

I've attached a cap of the error message.
