Slot command issue Inventor 2027

I came across this issue, when using the slot command, if the slot centre to centre length is small the slot centre is offset from the sketch point.  E.g. If the slot is 16.5mm wide and the OAL is 18.5mm the slot is off-centre, but is you change the OAL to 20mm the slot is back on sketch centre. 

Also in an assembly when you try to constrain the slot radius you get an error message "Relationship was placed with respect to geometry that is no longer available"

The issue persists after updating to 2027.0.1.

Some added info into this problem/ bug using the "center mark" option for slots - the sketch is dimensioned at 31.00000000in but the actual measured feature starts differentiating at the fifth decimal place which is causing issues (giving "The assembly cannot be solved" prompt) when using the "Joint" command to constrain a pair a slots to a pair of holes in an assembly.

update to my issue upon further investigation - my sketch deceived me showing it was locked bit truly wasn't - I'll have to figure have what's going on with that, but the original problem does still exist for those small slot sizes of the center switching from center to arc center on a dim change (that's what looks like anyway) which I's sure is causing line-up issues for joints and constraints in assemblies down the line.
