Sketch dimesions missing, parameters are still there

Hello,

I have a problem with some old Inventor files at my work.
i'm trying to change som old models parameters but when i open them the dimesions in every sketch is not there!

It can however be changed in the Fx tab (parameters d0,d1 etc) but that is too tedious.

If i try to drag a new dimension over, it just states that the sketch dimensions already exsists.
Adding new sketch dimesions (Not pre-existing parameters) will add the dimension to the sketch!)

Been looking around on the forum for similar occurrences without luck.

I'm now clueless to what causes this, bug?.

The designer of these parts are long gone.

Thanks in advance

I had the same behavior as you... i tried several things, though... but without success.

Have you the chance to migrate the files to a intermediate version first? lets say 2015, and check if it's migrating well?

As far as i know i do not think so.
Alot/Most of these parts were moved in bulk, and autoloaded in Vault basic.
the files are now only in vault.

That was rather weird ? maybe they are corrupt files.
I can open them just fine, i will check any OLE issues tomorrow on work.
Former technical drawer added a custom reflection map 6 years ago, causing problems with some models today.

Hi! The sketch is indeed corrupted. Most of the dimensions in the sketch have visibility set to off. If I copy the sketch and paste it to a plane or another part, it does not help. The parameters are copied also. Another sign of corruption is that if you use Purge Unused in Parameters, a few model parameters can be purged. There might be a way to turn them on via API but I am not 100% positive.

Many thanks!
