Simplify - How to keep individually defined envelopes

Hi,

I'm having trouble keeping envelopes in my assemblies after simplification. 
What I'd like to do is:

1. Manually define envelopes around select objects in the assembly
2. Run the simplification tool to remove unnecessary parts and features
3. Output a Substitute that includes the manually define envelopes from step 1.

What happens is that the substitute is generated, but without those envelopes, and I can't figure out a way to add them in since the original part isn't present in the substitute file.

Hi Stuart,

This is a limitation in the Simplify workflow (2023/2024), reported as INVGEN-67899. Currently we don't have a good solution. The fix is targeting the future release. In the meantime, you may want to use the Replace with Envelope option in the Simplify panel.
