show picture from sketch on drawing

hi,

i got this part with a sketch. in that sketch is a picture.

if i want that picture shown on my drawing, is decall the only soloution?

Accepted solution

The decal function is the intended way to get a picture in a part sketch to show up in a drawing (assuming by drawing you are meaning an idw/dwg file created from this part file)...

What about the decal function doesn't work for you?

 

You can insert images into drawings separate from the part file drawing but I'm not sure if that would help whatever you seem to be try to do..

There may be alternate ways to accomplish your goal but I'm not aware of the details of what that goal is.

Sounds like decal is acceptable so you have that. If you want to continue searching for other ways you will need to provide as much detail as possible about exactly what you are trying to accomplish so we can offer suitable suggestions.

no, this will work for me.

not using it a lot, so it was just to know, if there was, an easier way to do it.
