sheetmetal_Flat Patterns

I am wondering if I can take a half funnel shape a rolled part and make it a flat pattern. I read that if I started with the end view and revolved it that I would be able to,
but that didn't work for me. Can you Help?

First off delete your current flat pattern, then select the outer face of
part, then flatten the part.

Oops never mind about deleting your current flat pattern, I see that there
isn't one yet.

Just select the outer face then flatten the part

I think I would model it a bit differently. The way you have modeled it the flat will have beveled edges along the arcs - more expensive to manufacture.

Here is how I would probably do the model.
Pull down the red End of Folded marker and then double click on the Flat Pattern.

Thanks! I didn't know it was going to be that eazy.
Thanks again

But you should redraw it, like JD showed in his posted part. You are most
likely not going to manufacture the part like you drew it, so I would redraw
it like you are going to manufacture it.
