I was curious if there is a way to customize the naming for punch IDs to making calling them out in drawings easier. I have just a simple slot punch that I have adjustable so one can change the overall length and diameter. I don't have set ones as this could change fairly drastically but makes calling them out easier as out company tends to use Diameter x Length SLOT and then the quantity in the part. But I haven't figured out how to have it so that the dimensions entered translate to the Punch ID without having a table which would be extremely tedious when it should be able to pull those numbers thru the part. When you create a leader text it's an option to pull the parameters from the part, but I can't enter them as such when I create the punch and have the "specific punch ID option."
I'm currently using Inventor 2023.
