I guess you can create the desired bend tables you need, set a default bend table that you want for a default, and then choose which bend table you would like to use later if needed to change. Please see below.

Custom bend table 1 is chosen as the default bend table, but I can also choose to alter which bend table can be used with the defaults (Such as Bend table 2).  Hope this helps.

Hi Yashin

can you please clarify what you are trying to achieve.

Do you want to have a bend table with different bend radius (bend deductions) for the same material?

Hi

thanks for the replys.

Yes thats exactly whatn I'am trying to do.

I really just want to know what inventor does , say if you create two bend tables for a material.

1)They both have the same thickness

2)They both have the same bend radii

3)But they have different correction values

Will inventor just use the first tables information?

Hi Yash,

Inventor Bend Table by itself is not aware of material. The bend allowance computed by the Bend Table is a function mainly of Thickness, Bend Radius, and Bend Angle. K-factor is used as a backup if there is a nonsensical value on the table. Sheet Metal Rule encompasses Material Style and a selected Unfold Rule, which points to a Bend Table or any other unfold means.

Many thanks!

Thank you

Makes more sense , I understand how it works . Thought it was more complicated than it seemed .
