yes
any solutions to keep the unfold line same as the folded measured part
It is possible to have the bend lines match the distance between faces but in a real manufacturing situation it is highly unlikely this will be the case.
To achieve what you are asking you can "manipulate" the sheet metal defaults and set a bend radius to give you the result you desire.
i have a 1.5mm sheet so what should be the bend radius to match the above dimensions
find the file attached
Start around 2.42mm and fine tune from there
but its changing the layout of the folded part
Yes it will.
I have looked at your part and the feature will move on the part as they are not fully constrained sketches.
If you add dimensions / geometric constraints to the sketches the features will hold in position when you make changes to the styles.
By default i would suggest you add any missing dimensions to a hard edge ie outside (fixed geometry) not soft edges created from the bend plate extents.
Hi! If I understood your request correctly, I believe you are asking something impossible here. The distance between two parallel bend lines cannot be the same as the folded parallel faces. It is because there is bend radius on both bends. The bend radius creates slight offset from the bend line.
It will only work if the bend radius is zero, where the bend zone collapses to a line. Inventor support zero bend radius input but on the 3D geometry, there is still tiny radius.
Many thanks!
