Sheet metal Drafting

I am trying to make a detail of a sheet metal part with two views (unfolded & folded)....I know you can place a unfolded view by checking flat pattern in base view dialogue but that option is not available;le for some reason. If anyone knows what might be going wrong that would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great day.

You need to create the flat pattern in the sheet metal ipt first for that to be available..

I have tried that...i have been using the unfold command to make the flat pattern and it still only one base view option.

@Anonymous

The unfold command is used to unfold your sheet metal part, do something and then you refold.  You need to generate flat pattern per these steps.
