Sheet Metal Dimensions

HI all,

I have been making some frames up for our camera trucks at work out of sheet metal in Inventor 2009.

I can take the folded parts into a drawing and retrieve the dimensions.

However, when I place the flattened pattern into a drawing I cannot get any of the dimensions.

Why is this so?

regards

Lorgra

Hi,

You can retrieved dimensions on flat pattern view only from features created in flat pattern environment in the model.
Dimensions from features created in folded environment can be retrieved only on folded view.
