sheet metal: create flange from flange tool but choosing a custom flange length

I fear that there is a ridiculously simple answer for this.

I'm creating an enclosure out of sheet metal. I create a base, then create a flange for the sides using the flange tool.

I then create a little flange (from the side flange) to allow fixing to the other half of the enclosure.

The trouble is that the little flange needs to be set back (by the material thickness) to allow fixing - see image.

I cannot see how to do this.

There must be a way, but even the options in the flange tool do not seem to help!

HI!

Open the hidden options and play a little bit until you find what you need...

I see the options now, thanks!

It appears the reason why I couldn't see them was because I selected 2 edges (to create flanges on either end), when I deselected one, I got the options.

is there a reason why the options cant be seen with multiple selections? seems a bit odd.....

The reason is: you have to choose one flange point to set the positioning flange offset... therefore, you must do one at the time.
