Sheet Metal : Corner Relief

Hello,

Can somebody tell me why I cannot achieve the ARC WELD corner relief preparation I am seeking. I would like a more closed corner....please see attachments.

This is a limitation.

You can only specify arc weld replacement in a "2 bend" corner. ie a flat sheet with 2 bend plates meeting in the corner.

 

3 bend corners has a much more limited replacement options.

You can see this in the active sheetmetal style corner tab.

The Bend Radius of your Contour Flange is giving you the corner.  If you change it to something close to zero, it will remove the corner gap.  Now the next question will be, can you fabricate it?  The screen capture below, the contour flange bend radius is set to .005".  Likewise, if the Flange bend radius was also reduced, it will close up even more, again, will you be able to fabricate it.
