I am trying to put sheet metal around a wire frame cylinder, and I am lost, I can get the sheet metal to go around 360 degrees, I unfolded my sheet metal to flat, and make my pattern, (vents that goes around the cylinder in the sheet metal) I got my flat pattern drawn and then I extrude the vents, looks great, but when I go to fold the sheet metal I lose my pattern? any help, thanks jeff
Hi, In you Part3, you have the vents made in your flat pattern. These will only be in the Flat Pattern. If you like these in you folded part you have to make them in the folded part, you can use the Unfold and Refold function.
I have made the changes in the file.
Also I would make the holes with the array function.
