Shadows are not displayed when outputting images using image rendering in Inventor 2025.

When I click Render Image and look at it in normal view, the shadow appears, but when I use Image Output, the shadow does not appear.

How can I fix this? please help me

Have you setup your render window with the same settings as your normal viewport?

I don't use the Studio that often anymore, but I do remember being frustrated with Studio and it's lack of good settings overview.

Double check your settings. It's probably that.

Could you please share an image of the issue to help us better understand the shadow problem? Thanks.

is it ambient/object shadows that are not rendering, or ground shadows (or both)? Like, rui_wang requested, please include an image of the issue.

As shown in the attached photo, a shadow is displayed on the Inventor screen, but when rendering output is performed, the shadow disappears.

These are too completely different situations. The first is just in software graphics, the second is after rendering. There is still shadow, it is just less pronounced.

In image 1 Inventor is just throwing on a default shadow, in image 2 it actually calculates what the real shadow should be. You need to lower ambient light or turn the brightness down if you really want to see shadow.

Also try this, it's a much easier way to render.

No matter how dark the shadow is, it disappears the moment you render it.

This could be to do with your viewcube. Please try changing a different face of the cube to 'front' and try again.

In my test

Sorry, what do you mean? Do you mean you tried that and it doesn't fix the issue?
