This is a video. In order to do a loft command I have to select region B, but cannot select. I was able to select opposite site region A. What is the reason?

Obviously... a bad sketch..

the <v is not conected to the top line.

If you make a good sketch, the problem vanish...

Before using LOFT command I used Extruder command to establish the region is closed. Beyond this how to establish the sketch is good?

Effectively the selection can be sometime a little tricky.

With tricky sketches sometime you can help a little the sketch

If theres a problem with selecting profiles,  it's because the sketch isn't robust.

The video... is not a good exemple, to much dimensions, sketch not very well constructed (almost a crap sketch). It's better somethimes just a couple of dimensions and the rest constrained with geometric constrains, and .... a important factor is.... every geometry that you will not use as a profile, turn it in work geometry... and most of this problems will go away...

Try to delete the top line, and do it again...

I wish to know whether it is possible to do this without having project geometry.

No.

Project geometry to constrain geometry you need to profile, and turn all the geometry you dont need to profile in work geometry.

All fully constrains the sketches, doesnt matter if are center lines or others....

Thids is the way to work correctly... as a pro.
