I believe I've found a defect in actual releases of Inventor - Select Filter misbehaves regarding Workplanes
Ex. There is a Workplane in assembly (see attached zip).
If window-select all while Component or Part filter is enabled it selects the Workplane*
The problem is NOT reproducible in 2022.6.1

Hi! Indeed, the behavioral change started from 2024. I could be wrong, but it seems like an enhancement request by users. I need to check with the project team to understand it better.

Hi! I just got confirmation from the project team that it was a deliberate change (INVGEN-64403), per user feedback on Inventor Feedback Community. The old behavior was a bug, because it filtered out assembly work geometry incorrectly, leading to inconsistent behavior with part work geometry selection. Now they are consistent.
