Of course the first image refers to the correct result, the others do not ..... Thanks for your help.

1. What version of Inventor are you using (including Update number)?

2. Can you Attach your files here that exhibit the behavior that is the issue?

3. Is your intention to use 1st angle projection, or is it 3rd angle projection?

4. Can you describe in more detail exactly what the issue is (it might be more apparent when you Attach the actual files, but from the images I am not sure what you are saying is correct view and what is incorrect view)?

2 - Here is the file

3 - My intention to use 1st angle projection

4 - The wrong views are the last 4

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi! You only share the iam file. Please share all ipt and iam files. The iam file by itself does not contain geometry.

You are on 2019.2 update. Please install 2019.4 update.

Many thanks!

Part files have the extension *.ipt

Also, if you go back and read your problem description - it is unclear to me if Collage.png

is supposed to be collage2.png in reference to the 3 images that you describe.

In other words, collage1.png is correct? and collage(2).png and collage3.png are not correct?

Hi! Forum experts and Autodesk team members are more than happy to help. Your comments are not helpful. We need to see the files (idw, ipt, and iam). So far, you only attach incomplete files. There isn't much we can do with limited information.

Many thanks!

Hi, sorry for the late reply, a lot of time has passed and now I don't remember clearly the settings that I had or thought I had, maybe they were not correct. In any case, below the .ipt file.

Many thanks to those who answered me. P.S. Inventor, for me, does not suck ...

And now, last but not least, how can I put an image in place of the gray half-length, like JDMather or johnsonshiue?

I already have an image in my profile but it doesn't appear

Someone can tell me in MP ? Many thanks.

Bye

Hi Graziano,

Many thanks for sharing the file! I guess you had solved the problem right? I think it was probably related to Projection Type (Manage -> Styles Editor -> Standard -> View Preferences). It was set to 3rd Angle, while you wanted 1st Angle.

Regarding the image, are you talking about posting the image in the reply or on the model? In the reply, you simply click on the camera button in the text editor and select an image. It will be embedded to the posting.

If it is about the model, could you elaborate where exactly you want to see the image?

Thanks again!

@johnsonshiue  I think he/she is asking about their Autodesk account profile image.
