Saving a copy of an ilogic generated assembly

(Sorry please can an admin move this to the customisation forum)

There are loads of demonstrations of how amazing iLogic and forms are at creating assembly generators for quick configurations, but I'm struggling to find information on what to do with it next.

I've picked all my drop downs, got the assembly configured just right and then next thing I need to do is save a copy of this assembly so it actually becomes an assembly and not just an iteration of the logic part.

All my parts and sub assemblies need to be numbered according to our numbering scheme.

I could use ilogic to save all the parts to a new location but I have no idea how you are supposed to keep them linked to the assembly file as you are essentially just creating a load of new files.

Are there any tutorials anywhere explaining the next stage of this process, i.e. making a copy of that assembly with all the user chosen drop downs?

Hi! The command you want to use is called iLogic Design Copy. Start Inventor and close all files. Go to Tools -> iLogic Design Copy.

Many thanks!

I don't though, I want it all to happen in the background so the user can't
mess it up.
Also you can't rename things other than prefix in ilogic design copy
