Rotational joint not working

Rotational joint not working

Hi!

When placing a rotational joint everything seems to be working. When pressing the animate play button it looks exactly like I want it to. However when pressing Apply and OK, I cannot rotate the part at all, even though the rotation joint comes up in the  assembly menu.  The only way for me to rotate is to right click on the rotaion in the menu, go to "drive" , type in the degrees of rotation and hit play.

I should be able to hold down mouse1 for it to ratote, right? Or is there a command that I need to hold down?

You have posted your Inventor Assembly file but you did not supply any of the components.  You must use the Pack and Go utility to gather all the assembly and all the parts, zip them up and then post the zip.  You get to the Pack and Go Utility by right click on your Inventor assembly file either in Windows File Explorer or in the Open panel of Inventor itself.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news again, but your zip file is empty.

That's weird. Does it work now?

I am so sorry for all the problems, I am new to all this. Thanks for the patience.

I fixed it!

I had not grounded the base component. Grounding it made everything work.
