Revlove feature problems

I was wondering why I can't revolve the feature in the section view? Maybe there is a different way of doing it? I need help!

Without seeing your modeling attempt, I will take a guess what your issue is.  Often students in my class will look at the section and sketch the full section outline.  They do not realize that only half of the section outline is required for a successful revoved feature.

The radius dimensions as given in your original drawing cannot be measured on the shop floor.

Here is how I would dimension Sketch1.

 

Note the simplicity of the sketch.

Hello @Anonymous there are a few things about your drawing that I see being problematic that I have outlined in the screencast.

• Dimensions should be diametric.
• Keyway slot should be dimensioned to the center point or other side.
