My desired endstate is to have all users at three different sites able to create revision tables that follow an in-house revision numbering system, with a row containing the revision number, a description, a time-stamp for when the revision was made, and a blank cell for both the person requesting the revision and the draftsman performing it to initial (by pen). The revision table standard needs to be used both with new drawings and existing ones.
Minimum requirement is for the revision number field and date to be prompted entry.
The in-house revision numbering is the sheet number, followed by a hyphen and the revision number for that sheet. Ie. the third revision on page nine would be 9-3. The revision is tracked on both the relevant page and the first page of the package, the visibility of all but the latest three revisions turned off on the first page. Description would be left blank in the first page table.
Ex: first page would have 9-3, no description, the date revised, a blank cell for initials.
Ninth page would have 9-3, a description, the date revised, a blank cell for initials.
I created and revised reivision table styles through the Style and Standard Editor, and attempted to use column chooser to tie drawing custom properties into the table, but none were available. I also attempted to use "new property" to effectively create blank variables so I could get to the minimum requirement that I described (a blank row of cells that the user would manually enter).
How do I go about this?
