Retrieve share link of multiple CAD files

Hello

We have configurable assembly.

With all options multiplied with each other, we reach a high amount of possible of configurations.

I want to generate a select number of configurations, export them to STP and upload them to the Fusion envoiroment so colleagues can access, view and download them.

Is there anyway to extract a table with filename and share link?

Otherwise it would be a tedious endavour.

Hi Vincent,

I suspect this could be done via iLogic rule. But, I am not 100% sure. Could you be more specific on the table layout and the links?

Many thanks!

Hi Johnson.

Thank you for the reply.

I am looking for this:

On the website: myhub.autodesk360.com, I am looking for this:

vkrempel_0-1624429976037.png

The purple column needs to be added with the link for sharing, I select all the information (yellow), CTRL+C, CTRL+V, to excel, and remove redundant information (like my name).

This way I can share all generated configurations and be 100% sure that the link matches the model.

An alternative work method is much appreciated. I read everywhere that collaboration is a key feature of the autodesk software but I fail to see a simple method of sharing a configurable assembly or part to the organisation.

An alternative work method I can think of is that I upload all the data to an online server and let the client configure the assembly themselves. The only problem i can think of is that there is no hard link to a 2D drawing, which is needed to control production. I have no idea if I am missing a key feature here.

Hi Vincent,

I think I misunderstood your request. If you are talking about workflows within Inventor, iLogic will help. But, you are talking about autodesk360.com. It is a shared environment by multiple products within Autodesk. I don't believe such Inventor specific requests have been fulfilled.

Many thanks!

Hi! I am sure there is a way to do it, albeit not straight forward. I think the simplest way is to export Inventor files as dwf. Then share the dwf file (viewable via Autodesk Design Review or viewer.autodesk.com).

Many thanks!
