Resize window 'copy design properties' tab in the design assistent

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there is a way to resize the window of the copy design properties tab inside the design assistant.

I use this option for my work a lot and as you can see in the picture the model information its not instantly visible (have to drag the sliders to see which parts I want to select to see). I cannot drag the window borders as is possible with normal windows. Also tried ALT+space but that doesn't give a resize option as well.

Hope someone has a solution!

Kind regards,

Hi! I am sorry I don't think there is a way to do that at the moment.

Many thanks!

This is a long-standing limitation in Design Assistant.  Can I suggest something better for this purpose?  Use the BOM Editor in the Assembly environment.  It is much quicker and easier there.  Even if you have to create a temporary assembly just for this purpose, it is still much easier to work with, mainly because you can drag-fill a column, just as you would with Excel.

If that's not clear, or you run into trouble, post back here.

Thanks SBix26! Have been trying this and it works great. I will be using this from now on since I was also able to override properties from locked content center files with the copy design properties. (whoops..)

It is rather ridiculous  that this issue persists, even with all the complaints!

The suggested method, of using the BOM, does of course not work, if the files you want to update are IDW's

Absolute disregard for the customers in this respect

Does anyone know why this has not been fixed?
