Reorient with new 'top'

Please the attached image.

I'm trying to reorient the part so that the 'front' remains the same but the top is the face that has the arrow pointing to it. Can anyone explain how to do this please?

Thanks,

Simon

Right click on the View Cube and Reset as Top.

Hi!

You can do that several ways:

1 - Use the cube to reorient the views:

Align the surface you want as TOP, go to cube, right mouse button and select:

This will not change the origin planes. X, Y and Z planes and axis are persistent, you can't change it.

2- You can rotate the part until you get the desired position. You can use Move Bodies  or Direct tool:

3- You can redesign the main sketch to achieve your "direction needs"

Hi Simon,

I believe you want to use Direct Edit -> Rotate -> Body like Carlos indicated. You want to reorient the body against the coordinate system, not just the View Cube, right?

Many thanks!
