My display settings are as follows below. I prefer to render using a white background (transparent background using the alpha channel of PNG is not possible when using GPU raytracing) I do it this way so it can look seamless PowerPoint presentation.
Before selecting "Ray Tracing" My product looks like this. Pretty good and the details of the object behind the clear part are visible.
When I select ray tracing the object behind clear cover has no details but the clear device its self looks decent. Pay notice I do not want to use the grey "display scene image" that is associated with the "photo booth environment" so it was unchecked.
However if I chose to use the "display scene image" that is associated with the "photo booth environment. the clear cover looks good and the device behind is great. I do not want the clear cover to look tinted grey so this is not a usable render.
What am I missing? I am trying to get high quality renders on a white background. Open to all suggestions.
