Removing sharp edge using Fillet

Hello,

I need to remove the sharp edge of the offset surface and blend it to the flat surface. I have tried fillet , but still the transition is not smooth. Is there any other fillet pic 1.JPGfillet pic 2.JPGfillet pic 3.JPGfillet pic 4.JPGway to blend both the flat and curved faces? I am attaching the model too. Please help!

Hi! I think I have seen this part before. The one you are working on seems to be a solution I provided earlier. I was not sure what the design intent was when I was working on it.. Now I think I understand it better now.

The imported geometry is very bad. Instead of patching faces, I think you will be better off recreating the body. It should not require too many features. You could use the import body as a reference, Recreate the body using better quality curves and surfaces, instead of reusing the existing edges or faces. After you do that, the model should be easier to work with and any downstream features will have better chance to succeed.

Many thanks!

Extrusion13 and Delete Face3 do not make logical sense to me?

I stopped analyzing at that point.
