Removing Editing function from Shrinkwrap Part

Hi,

I am trying to create a simple part/Shrinkwrap of a 3D assembly that I can provide to a client.

I have managed to use the shrinkwrap command but with this it still comes with the editing function and allows the receiver to see all the part details in the part file editor.

Is there away to remove the editing function from a shrinkwrap or another way of creating a single part 3D model from an assembly which has no historical data?

Many Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

Break link should help you to disable the editing capability.

Do you still want to hide the browser nodes? Or do you still want to hide the assembly structure information in the browser?

If so, you probably have to export to a neutral format such as *.step from the Shinkwarp part rather than send the shrinkwrap part directly.

Hope it helps!

Hi! I guess you are looking for a way to strip off features on the feature tree, right? You could export the file to SAT or STEP, Close the source part and then import the SAT or STEP file. You will get dumb geometry without any feature history.

Many thanks!
