Remove iProperites / text display from Model View

I am working with a few assemblies in the presentation view (.ipn). The corresponding iProperties (or similar text, unsure) is persistently showing as an overlay in the model view. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but as I add/remove components, the iProperties change and overlay different texts on top of one another, making for a very ugly/busy mess. I cannot find the setting that controls this.

Interestingly, some of the child assemblies and individual parts (.ipt and .iam) show varying degrees of this, and others none at all.

Any advice on where to find this setting, and how to remove?

A couple questions: What version of Inventor are you using? Has this issue persisted in the past or is it a recent development? Are you able to upload any files that exhibit this behavior?

Hopefully this will help narrow down the search for answers.

Thank you

Hi! These are general notes. But they should only show up in the part or assembly where such notes exist. To turn it off. Simply open the top-level assembly that is referenced by the presentation file -> View -> Object Visibility -> uncheck "Component 3DA" and "3DA."

Many thanks!
