Refresing my Inventor knowledge

Hi,

Used to Inventor, I need to refresh my knowledge about.

I need a CAD software again, I and don't remember if Inventor FEM solver has large displacements (I will do wristwatch conception).

I wonder too if it's possible to work with Inventor without any internet connection.

About Fusion 360, I don't remember very well : is it the same as Invertor, but all through internet ?

Best regards,

Amer

Inventor is offline-friendly. Autodesk's cloud design tool would be Fusion.

Inventor FEA is simplistic and not for large displacements. Lookup Inventor NASTRAN for nonlinear analysis and other larger displacement studies.

you can run Fusion 360 & inventor offline but not forever

some fusion 360 features may require Internet to use

both require Internet for initial setup
