How to avoid this in the drawings?
PS: this is a very large assembly 6x5 m. This detail is very small (60mm diameter).

Hi, i think you should use a higher resolution while exporting to pdf file.
@bfoWQH28 In the drawing go to tools... document settings..(Drawing Tab) and set "Use Bitmap" to "Offline Only"
Did that help?
What settings do you have for tools..application options..hardware tab? Tried "Quality"
What about.. Tools..application options..display tab.."Display Quality".. Try "Smoother"
And is "Disable automatic refinement" UNCHECKED on that screen?
Hi! How does it look in the assembly document window? Does it look the same? If yes, there are two logical explanation. The geometry may be bad. Open the assembly and go to Manage -> Rebuild All. Does it help?
The other possibility is inadequate graphics RAM or system RAM. Inventor has to reduce graphics fidelity to preserve performance. How much RAM do you have?
Many thanks!
Tried "quality", tried "smoother". Didn't work.
I tried wth and wothout "Disable automatic refinement"
In the assembly screen i dont have this problem.
When i say "even inside inventor it looks like that:" i mean in the drawing screen.
In the assembly window I don't have this problem.
When I say "even inside inventor it looks like that:" I mean in the drawing screen. Do is definitely not a geometry issue.
I have 8 GB of RAM.
Hi! 8GB system RAM or graphics RAM. If it is system RAM, that is below the minimum system requirement. You need at least 16GB or more.
Many thanks!
But isn't it weird that it is really well defined on the 3D modeling screen (and other assemblies much bigger and more complex than this one also work really well) and yet Inventor cannot render a good pdf with it?
If I send you the files, can you check if you can export a good pdf?
Hi! Sure, please send the files (zipped) to me directly [email protected].
Many thanks!
