Heya,

Ive been running into the issue that i am unable to redefine the flat pattern like i used to by right clicking on the flat pattern and selecting EDIT FLAT PATTERN DEFINITION which allowed me to vertically or horizontally align an edge.

Please advise how to do this in the newer version of 2026 since it seem this button has been removed

Hi

I don't have access to version 2026, but this feature is still available in version 2027.

Can you share the file and screenshots?

Hi!

The option is still there in 2026:

Actually, is the same option to every version...

Hi! Does this part contain a non-Primary Model State? Please share the ipt file. I would like to understand the Edit Flat Pattern issue better. It should work regardless

Many thanks!

Using your file and 2026 version, the option is available:

If this is the orientation you need, Check the part attached.

Do you use Factory Design tools

Yes i have done this and it seems i got it back after closing everything (Including the factory environment). and re-opening the part seperately. after which i opened the factory environment again and it removed the button oncen more. so indeed the issue lies with the factory environment breaking the option entirely

Don't have the Factory 2027 tools installed at the moment, so cannot check; however still a problem with Inventor 2026.3  & Factory 2026.1.2 ( both latest for 2026 )
