Rectangular pattern

Hi forum, Im trying to create a rectangular pattern for the part TRACK. The last track should have the same distance from the end of the profile as the first track
Can someone be kind to help me out?

There are more then a way to do that, with different level of difficulty and different level of parametric results.

What do you want to obtain? Just a geometric serie?

Something controlled by the master?

Yes

From the master I want to control only the profile length and the distances between profiles.
From the iam I want to control only the number of tracks respectfully to the length of the profile

Hi,

You can too control the number from the assembly (iLogic)

As you can see your data are in the master part, and the number should be releted someway to these data (length, etc)

Hi! As Matteo and Brad already showed, it is doable. There are multiple ways to accomplish this. One slight variation to Brad's solution is to use a sketch-driven pattern of a workpoint in the part. Then select the workpoint pattern in the assembly Component Pattern to populate the frame members. The spacing is determined by the sketch and it can be uneven.
