Realistic view with Edges

Hi,

Is there a way to view a model in Realistic with Edges?  As a default, Realistic doesn't show edges like the "Shaded with Edges" view.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Your request is kind off contradicting itself...
If you have defined edges, how is it "realistic"

As far as i know, there is no option to turn on edges in the realistic visual style.
What is your reason for wanting this, where does "shaded with edges" fall short for what you're trying to do?

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

I typically grab or capture the images in the Inventor back to my CAD drawing sheets.

In my drawings, it is very important in my line of work to show the materials (i.e. insulation, aluminium, material texture, etc.)  in the model images that's why I'm using the Realistic view mode.  But I feel that that having this type of view mode without line edges seems to be washed out and doesn't highlight some of the small items in the model.

So, I was thinking, adding some extra "edge" visual option in the Realistic mode would give more impact in the model when I present my drawings.

Please advise.

Thanks.

If you export your images and have access to a photo editor, you might get your desired result by combining 2 images.
First you'd export an image from your "realistic" view and then one with "wireframe visible edges only" (preferably with a white background or single color) that you save as png with transparent background.
Then you just add the wireframe image as a layer on top of your realistic view in the editing software.
