re-orientatin a derived part

Hiya all,

I have come to an impass.

I managed to draw a part in the wrong orientation. I had finished the part before I realised and no that I need to use the part to create additional parts I found my self in an awkward position.

I have a Cab and a Chassis and need to rotate the cab 90 degrees so it sits up right on the chassis.

any one know how I can do this?

I've attached two files.

1) the cab shell

2) the cab shell and the chassis

Many thanks for you help

Becky

Becky,

I have run into this before and had some success with the Move Bodies command.  Instead of trying to describe the tool, I'm attaching a screencast.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Hope all is well and have a most blessed night!

Peace,

Pete
