"The current operation requires data from document..." error when opening .DWG

I get this error (on a screenshot) all time when GOST default templates selected in App options. It's absolutely not a problem with file accessibility, read/write permissions or file names/paths, when ANSI/ISO selected as default template everything works perfectly. So seems like there is a problem with GOST templates.

P.S. Problem occurs both Inventor 2018 and 2017 (2017 with latest updates, 2018 freshly installed and not updated yet)

I have them preinstalled (by selecting the option during the installation (shown on screenshot), it is deactivated by default) and I am selecting template pack in Application Options -> File -> Configure Default Template. I can attach default GOST files, but I think you have to apply them by hands in this case. And although I'm not sure what kind of file is used when opening .DWG (Design Data, Templates, etc.).

when changing units for templates it actually copies over the files from your GOST folder and if those have been modified by mistake then the default template will be modified as well.

Please explain which file gives this error? when do you get this error? when using the new drawing? If so please attach the drawing template for me.

Oh, seems like I mislead you a bit. It's NOT a drawing, drawings works fine. Its an ACAD DWG contour made for laser cutting from inventor part or drawing (through export to DWG). So this problem appears when I'm trying to open any ACAD DWG when GOST is activated as a template pack. So I have no idea what file from the template pack is used in this case.

That would be very strange.... Have you tried to open/import a different ACAD DWG just to test out if it's the laser cut dwg or the GOST template?

I am pretty sure it's the laser-cut which might have some XREF's but I've been wrong way too many times...

I've get the example from this page: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/downloads/content/autocad-sample-files.html

The file I've tried to open is attached. Problem appears in exactly same way - when GOST pack activated, the error appears, when ANSI/ISO (didn't try other) - everything works perfectly. Although I forgot to mention when I click cancel inventor crashes (Both 17 and 18) and when I click OK error appears again and again.

I've sent an automatic crash report yesterday, but there is no solution yet

Can you share the whole pack, please? zip it up and upload it for me.

I'm not sure there is an individual folder for GOST files, they are distributed all across Inventor folder in Documents. And it seems that only way to install it correctly is to select it during inventor installation process (according this thread: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/adding-gost-content-center-library-help/td-p/3611758).

But if you can say what files to send you, I'll do it. Or I can send you entire folder.
