Hi

Have the above error message while trying to open a part file - can anyone help me recover my work?

Have attached the file.

I closed the file after it starting throwing up strange error messages, and now i can't open it again.

Thanks in advance

When posting (especially attaching files) it is important to indicate which version of Inventor you're using.  In your case its Inventor 2015.  Are you sure this is a part file, its missing a lot of files?  DId you derive other files into this part?   Unable to open either.  YOu may want to check your oldversion folder since this file is now corrupt or one of the other files that it needs is corrupt.

Sorry i forgot to mention it was IV2015, i was in a rush when i posted lat night.

It's a part file derived by a number of other parts. Is there no way to recover? I've checked old versions, and the one in there is corrupt as well (seems it was created just before the current one).

I've seen something that suggested opening the file in an earlier version of IV; did this not work?
