"A Section View already exists in the current design view"

This is showing up whenever I am attempting to create a new section view while a current section view exists.

Is there any way to change this to "Do not show this message again ever"? The checkbox can't be selected. This dialogue box is new to 2024. This prompt also does not appear in Application Options > Prompts. Maybe in a cfg or similar?

I make dozens of section views to inspect complex parts and toolpaths when using Inventor Cam, so this is a very common annoyance every time I launch inventor.

Hi! I guess you want to create a new Design View to capture the new section.

Or tick the only other option "Do not show this message again this session" - which hides the message until you restart Inventor.  It'll save you a few extra clicks over your lifetime.

I haven't figured out why some of those messages don't allow the "Don't show this message again ever" option.  It sounds as though you have a good use-case to have it changed!

This one looks like a bug to me. I cannot find the message in Tools -> App Options -> Prompt. I need to work with the project team to understand the issue better.

Hi! I am sorry that I did not share further information in time. This issue was reported as INVGEN-80092. Currently, it has been fixed in an internal build targeting 2025.2 update.
