Question: Override Displayed Value with text and Deviation

Hello,

    I have a part family with a length we set to L1 and it's a table. On the idw drawing, the dimension says L1 and the table matches etc etc. Everything works fine. But I need to add a deviation to the dimension. But b/c it's a Override or Hide Dimension Value... the deviation setting in the Precision and Tolerance tab doesn't show up in view...

If there a way to make this work?

I created the attached but it's a real mash up.

Instead of using 'hide dimension', I used 'override displayed value' & set the dimension to 1, then added the deviation. In the dimension text editor, I then added 'L' in front of the dimension (see attached).

That was a really good idea! I'll take that as the solution. Glad I only needed it be L1 and not just a single letter like L. If anyone else knows of a way to make it work with just letters, feel free to comment for future people searching for the same thing.

PS: That precision with Primary Unit and Primary Tolerance really helped wrap this up and make it work for me. Thank you for the solution.
