Question about file path

What is a Custom Inventor Execution File Path? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give us some context about where you have come across that term?

And why you think its something you need to know about?

My first guess is that its referring to the location of "Inventor.exe" which is typically located in C:/Program Files/Autodesk/InventorXXXX/bin folder..

A custom path would be located outside of that..

I am currently working in GeoMagic trying to transfer something with GeoMagic's Live Transfer tool. When I do that though, a box is selected under the 'Inventor Options' saying "Use Custom Inventor Execution File Path". Then when I go into my files to look for such thing I am clueless of what or where I have to search to find that.

@Anonymous  Thats better information..

In the user manual for GeoMagic that option is as follows..

Use Custom Inventor Execution File Path – Manually defines the path of an Inventor
application execution file.

That is exactly what I thought it was and the location is listed above in my previous post.. In that bin folder you will find the Inventor.exe file

C:Program Files/Autodesk/InventorXXXX/Bin/Inventor.exe (where XXXX is the version of Inventor you want to use)
