Hi all,
for the first time I want to use in sheetmetal my own push tool. For countersunk head screw M6. Simple push tolls are not problem (hexagon), but in this push tool I have problem. Inventor write error message with centre point.
I try to do it by lot of different ways, but problem is not solved.
In attachment is one part and one sheet metal which has design which I want (or something simillar). Also I need to developed sheet metal fore whole cover plate with holes.
Thank you for your help.

When creating a Punch Tool - you do not want the Projected Origin CenterPoint in your sketch.
You do need to convert the centerpoint of the circle to a Sketch Point or add a Sketch Point.
Here you go, had to change a few dimensions to get it to work but I think it is still correct to what you need.
You do have to pick the back side of the plate video shows how to.
Hi! The workplane was created from geometry (side face) not participating in the punchtool. I added two perpendicular lines to the sketch and then redefined the workplane. I also edited the 3rd sketch and removed any horizontal or vertical constraints. They are replaced with perpendicular or parallel constraints. It is because the concept of horizontal and vertical may not apply to the new sketch plane where the punchtool will be inserted.
I am able to extract it as a good punchtool (see attached files). Please take a look.
Many thanks!
