Punch IFeature in INV6. crashes in flat pattern

Hello Group,
What's wrong with this?

I created a dimple Ifeature for a punch tool. The feature dimple1 inserts
fine. I go to flat the part, Inventor 6 crashes. I went over the dimple1.ipt
several times to see if something was messed up, but I couldn't find
anything wrong with it. I exported the Peridot-1.ipt as a STEP, and brought
the STEP file into Inventor, saved it as Peridot-1stp.ipt, started a new
sheetmetal part, placed the the saved step file(Peridot-1stp.ipt) as a
derived part and hit flat pattern and it worked fine, I saved this file as
Peridot-1stp,sheetmetal.ipt).

I also tried this in INV 5.3sp2 but the Punch Feature gets inserted on the
wrong plane.

Any help would be appreciated.

Attached are all the files in the customer files as Peridot-1.zip .

Thanks,

Rick
