Projecting a flat pattern onto a round object

Hi, everyone

I have created this interesting pattern in work sheet that I will need to cut out into an object and then duplicate it in a circular pattern. However, after  projecting to 3D sketch, I can split only one out of many parts of the pattern and then I can't even project it again and do the rest of them.

This is how the pattern looks like:pattern projectionpattern projectionCan split only 2 curves at a timeCan split only 2 curves at a timecant split nor project the same pattern anymorecant split nor project the same pattern anymore

I did Split Part rather than Split Face.

That way I could cut from the center section and then Combine it back together.

Incidentally, this isn't way I would really do it (I didn't check @mikejones example), but I was more or less trying to follow along with the way you were working.

Hi! Mike's and JD's approaches are Cut feature-based. Another approach is to create a tool body (Freeform). Then pattern the body with Join body option. Then use Combine -> Cut to make the cutouts.

Many thanks!
