Hi,

I only have 1 project called Default.(Project Pop Up Box). I don`t use Vault

Can i make a number of different projects and then move the files from the single Default Project into the different Projects

Yes you can create as many projects that you like and move the related files to those projects.   However if you start sharing files across projects make sure to include those paths in your project file.

I have created 6 folders. What is the best way to move the files out of the Default folder into these 6 folders. I won`t be sharing files between folders.

Exit Inventor and use Windows Explorer to move your files.   Then launch Inventor and see if the models open up without issues based on your active project.

I would not use Workgroup Search Path but declare all those paths as Libraries. It all depeds on your needs but if you set them as Search Path the files can be edited from withing the current project and I ussually don't wanto to modify files from other projects so I set them as Libraries.

Once a project is finished I want to freeze it as it is and if files need to be changed in other projects i ussually clone them in the new project.
