Is this what you wanted?

Perhaps the problem is that you do not have any updates installed for Inventor 2023 (judging by the label in the file - build 153).

The current update for this version should be - 2023.5.3
(see at https://manage.autodesk.com/products/updates)

The updated file attached

I think this is a good idea...but, there might be a better way to manage these favorites? You can use shortcuts in Vault Thick Client. Under your "Saved Shortcuts", you can create folders and then folders within folders and then create file/item shortcuts within. This allows you to easily have a bunch of favorites and organize them. You can do this with files as well as items if you use those.

Hi! It seems that there is already a projected loop of the same face loop in the sketch. You are trying to create another projected loop, which is not allowed.

Many thanks!

thank you kindly, this solved my issue.

i still have one question. why when i projected the geometry did this create a construction line rather then a solid line? is this normal??

thanks everyone who replied in the thread 🙂

There is a  setting in the application options that makes projected geometry construction geometry.  Uncheck the box under the sketch tab and the projected geometry will come across as normal geometry.
