Problems with hidden lines

I have the problem when I want to make a drawing of an assembly that 3 of the 4 parts are hidden. This while I want to show the full piece shaded. When I take a better look, the hidden lines are unchecked and it should normally not cause a problem, but it still gives a problem. How do I solve this? This on Autodesk Inventor Professional 2018.

Attach example files here, or at least images of the issue.

This should be shaded like in the picture, when I agree with this , the hidden lines appear.

Can you Attach your assembly and at least these two parts here?

Have you installed the latest Updates for your version of Inventor?

Sorry,

I can't send my assembly due the trade secret.

It is the latest version of Inventor 2018.

Kind regards

Those are not hidden lines, they are phantom lines, indicating that the components are set as Reference components.

To change that setting, right click on the component in question, and select BOM Structure > Default.  Changing this will also add this component to the parts list, which you may or may not want.
