Problem with sweep command

So i have problem with sweep command, I'm trying to create a cable from this red circle to the main circle on the building , it is showing a red outline, i tried many things and it still doesn't work.

Problem with sweep command

Hi!

 

you're trying to create the Sweet by an assembly feature. (green square)
Assembly features have "special rules" and don't behave totally as a normal tool applied in a part.

 

 I suggest you create new parts for the cables instead of assembly features.

BTW... i would use Frame Generator to create the cables in a few minutes.

First create a skeleton sketch, then apply tubes to that skeleton.

Check the file.

 

You need to create the remain cables using the same method for a quarter bridge, than use mirrors to complete the bridge.

Well. if you are novice, just don't use assembly features. in time you will understand why they exist.

 

You have now all the paths you need in sketch1 (green Lines), and you will use each line to do each sweep.
You have to create a profile for each sweep (yes... it sucks). Create each sweep profile as the video attached "createSweepProfile".

Then you will have a profile and a path, you just have to use sweep tool and select both: the profile and respective path.

After you have one quarter bridge ready, you can create 2 middle planes and mirror two times to have all the bridge:
